I have successfully completed one transfer in Mesa, AZ! Wow
time flies. I feel like I say that every
week, too. I’m sad to be leaving Apache
Junction and its boonies desert charm, but I’m also really ready for a change. My new area is more in downtown Mesa.
Summer is coming on for real now and that makes me a little
nervous because in this new area I’ll be on a bike. Quarantine will save me from it most days,
but we’ll see 😊. I’ve
really come to love our district and our district sacrament meetings. This week we talked about finding joy in the work-
and this totally applies to real life too.
Our district leader stood up (he’s actually going home tomorrow so this
was his last message as a missionary), and said, “ I have one simple invitation
if you aren’t finding joy in the work [or in life], CHANGE. And if you do feel joy, ask your Heavenly
Father what you can do to have more of it.” Isn’t that so cool?! And he’s totally
right- there’s no ceiling to how much God is willing to bless us. So ask Him and live worthy of any blessings He
sees fit to bestow upon you- and I promise He wants nothing more than to bless
you with all he has.
Lots of love from Mesa,
